The Service

YNAB MCP is an open-source Model Context Protocol server that connects your YNAB budget data to AI assistants like Claude. It provides read-only access to your budget for analysis purposes.

Your Responsibilities

You must have a valid YNAB account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your MCP client configuration
You agree to use the service in compliance with YNAB's API Terms of Service

Data Access

YNAB MCP accesses your budget data through the official YNAB API
We request only the permissions necessary to provide budget analysis
You can revoke access at any time from your YNAB settings

No Warranty

YNAB MCP is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of budget analysis or continuous availability of the service.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of YNAB MCP, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on the service's output.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
